LIFEWISE Homecare Services provides services that support older adults, people with disabilities and/or rehabilitation needs to continue living in their own homes as independently as possible, these services are provided in conjunction the Auckland District Health Board, Ministry of Health, ACC or privately.

Our Case Manager’s complete a thorough individual assessment of each person referred for services and develop a plan of care in conjunction with the client and their significant others.

LIFEWISE provides a variety of services that are tailored to meet your needs, these can include:

• Assistance with personal care, including hygiene, dressing and grooming
• General housework
• Laundry
• Meal preparation
• Shopping
• Exercise plans
• Companionship and outings
• Childcare

Staff are all security checked, they undergo a comprehensive orientation and participate in an ongoing education programme and work under the supervision of their Case Manager.

LIFEWISE Homecare Services has received certification under the Home and Community Sector Standards and is committed to providing a quality service to all clients.

The costs of our services are covered in a variety of ways, including:

• Government Subsidy - A full subsidy is often available after a formal assessment from Auckland District Health Board Needs Assessment Service, Ministry of Health or ACC.
• Private - costs for services provided are met by the individual or their families.
• Combination of subsidy and private – you may choose to top up your allocated funded services with additional services that you or your family fund.
