Looking Forward

Having a vision is critical to any forward looking organisation. Our policy of social responsibility, called Cycles of Hope®, is at the heart of our planning and strategic direction.

Plans for the future include focusing on areas that are not being addressed by other agencies. We continue to be more than a social charity by not only meeting people at their point of need but also concentrating on the underlying issues and causes of social injustices. This approach will allow us to identify where needs are not being met. All the information gained can then be translated into effective and enhanced service delivery and improved social outcomes.

We believe keys to the future are for LIFEWISE to:

• Enhance our capability to conduct social research and to critique and shape social policy
• Enhance our ability to develop effective and sustainable community programmes
• Strengthen our regional network with increasing emphasis on engaging with local parishes and groups in the development of community facing projects
