Residential Care

Since late 2005, Methodist Mission Northern’s three residential sites for the care of older people have been managed by New Zealand Life Care Ltd an organisation with which the Mission shares a synergy of values.

The Mission does however continue to be involved in the pastoral care of residents and their families through our chaplains, social worker, and the provision of ancillary services.

We also continue to care for around 1,700 older people who live in their own homes, through Wesley HomeCare.

The three residential care facilities - Everil Orr Village Ltd (Mt Albert), Franklin Village Ltd (Pukekohe) and Wesley Village Ltd (Mt Eden) - are wholly owned subsidiaries of New Zealand Life Care Ltd. Each site offers a range of accommodation options for older people seeking residential care.

The combined expertise of New Zealand Life Care Ltd and Methodist Mission Northern has been brought together in a significant partnership to further enhance and develop the quality of life of residents.
